On December 16th, a rare event took place in Groningen (NL): it started snowing and it kept on snowing through the night. The next morning I got a phone call from my friend Speedy, who told me that there was enough snow on the only mountain in the city of Groningen to have a bit of snowboarding action. We went to the Kardingerberg, where the snow had transformed the BMX track into a snowboarding piste.
